What does “Cali Clear” mean?

The name has two halves and both are literal.

Cali is short for California, where the brand is based and where the extract is produced.

Clear describes the oil. Liquid diamond extract is noticeably more transparent than the darker live resin and distillate oils it sits beside on a shelf — a consequence of how it is made. THCa crystals are separated out of a cannabis extract and then dissolved back into the terpene sauce, and the resulting liquid is visibly clearer than an extract that never went through that separation.

So the name is a description of what is in the tank, not a marketing abstraction.

What are Cali Clears?

The same thing, pluralised. “Cali Clears” is how most people refer to the devices rather than the brand — one Cali Clear, several Cali Clears.

What is a Cali Clear vape?

A Cali Clear vape is the disposable device itself: a sealed, pre-filled unit containing 2g or 1g of liquid diamond extract, with the battery, tank and coil built in. There is nothing to refill and nothing to assemble.

You will also see them called Cali Clear carts, pens or dispos. All four names describe the same all-in-one device — there is no separate Cali Clear cartridge that screws onto a third-party battery.

What is Cali Clean?

Cali Clean is a misspelling of Cali Clear. There is one brand, and the spelling on authentic packaging is Cali Clear.

The same applies to Cali Cleans, Cail Clear, Callie Clear, Clear Cali and California Clear — all common typed variants of the same name. A seller whose packaging uses a different spelling, rather than just their website address, is worth a closer look.

Is Cali Clear weed?

Cali Clear contains cannabis extract, so yes in substance — but it is not flower. The device holds liquid diamonds: a concentrate made by separating THCa crystals out of a cannabis extract and dissolving them back into the plant’s own terpene sauce.

It comes from the cannabis plant. It does not look, smell or behave like the plant, because it is a refined concentrate rather than raw material.

Does Cali Clear get you high?

Yes. The extract tests at 90–95% THC, which places it well above cannabis flower at 15–30%. Effects from inhaled THC typically begin within minutes.

Does Cali Clear have nicotine?

No. Cali Clear is a cannabis product and contains no nicotine.

This is worth stating plainly because “vape” now covers two unrelated categories. A nicotine vape and a THC disposable look similar and work similarly, but nothing in a Cali Clear is nicotine, and the two are not interchangeable.

Does Cali Clear have CBD?

How long does a Cali Clear last?

This question gets asked two different ways, so here are both answers.

How long the device lasts. A 2g runs 800 to 1,000 puffs and a 1g runs 400 to 500. How many days that translates to depends entirely on use — at twenty puffs a day a 2g lasts around six weeks; at a hundred it lasts nine days.

How long the effects last. Inhaled THC typically takes effect within minutes and peaks around the half-hour mark, with effects tapering over the following hours. Duration varies considerably between individuals and with dose.
